This year has had a rough start, beginning with a change of drummer. Kristian Horn, who joined us one year ago in february, has left MIND due to indifferences.
We are currently having auditions and one specific drummer is especially standing out.

Earlier this fall, MIND launched this years SUBFEZT-project.
Last year the festival SUBFEZT '06 was held on Baråtti Pub on Strømmen (now known as Stage). This year things are going in a slightly different direction: SUBFEZT will be releasing a punk/rock/metal cd with contributions from 15 different underground bands from Akershus early 2008, as an aid project to raise money for the local youth psychiatric clinic. This has, as far as we know, never been done around here. So we thought it was nice to try it out...!

The HOLLOW KING EP is now mixed down and ready for listening..! The mixing has been done by Jørn Arild at Tuft Studio where the recording sessions took place. Tracks will be available in the "Download" section shortly. In the meanwhile, please check out all four tracks on our Myspace-page, www.myspace.com/mindband.

MIND entered TUFT Studio in Vestby this weekend to record the four-track EP "Hollow King". All drums and guitars were recorded on saturday, solos and bass added on sunday. The EP is only short of vocals, and those will be recorded on various dates through the next weeks.
This will be a fresh new sound from MIND, heavier and more brutal than ever before...

MIND will enter a recording studio early September in order to lay down four brand-new tracks! This will be the first recording with our new drummer, Kristian Horn. We hope to release the four-track EP shortly after. The tracks will be avaiable either here or on our myspace-site, www.myspace.com/mindband.

MIND will be performing on ClubMaiden on Thursday the 13th of September. This is a warm-up gig, and the main act is the Bergen Death-Metal band Syrach.
